The Challenge
There is currently not a standardized, efficient method for physicians to accurately assess the progression of the disease in MS patients. This is due to a number of reasons: lack of standardizations of MRI protocols, inaccurate measures within current tools, and the amount of time it takes to compare and contrasts scans. A pharmaceutical client approached us with a solution - they had developed an algorithm that would compare MRIs to show the appearance of new or growing lesions within the brain of their MS patients.
